SweetSpot: Now and Then, Pre-Order Available

Darlene Robinson grew up working poor, her people uneducated. Married right out of high school, she and her newly wedded husband had dreams, big enough to take them away from Little Rock, Arkansas to California. Norman learned how to code and once their first son arrived, they packed up and left Mama, Daddy and her older sister Cecelia for a job Norman got in the San Francisco area.

Readers meet her much later and during that time when women of a certain age are supposed to go quietly into that good night. Darlene Robinson, much as she tried, could not oblige because that would mean giving up dreams she was just beginning to realize.

We meet her at this juncture in her life, middle age.
